This meeting has been cancelled. It was announced in the Truro Daily paper, May 1, 2015, that the wastewater will be sent to LaFarge.

The Sewer Use Appeals Committee has decided to hold a public hearing relating to the appeals filed against the application submitted by AIS to discharge hydraulic fracturing wastewater into the Debert Sewer System. The public hearing will take place on May 21, 2015 at the Debert Legion, 1252 Masstown Road, Debert at 6:00 pm.

Any appellants wishing to make a presentation at the hearing must confirm with the CAO’s office in writing via letter or email to cao@colchester.ca by May 14, 2015. For more information, please see this pdf file.
