  • I’ve goose pimples all over! checking out what else is in the internet about this, I came across:

businessinsider.de – The world’s oceans are in even worse shape than we thought

Of “Ocean die-offs” is mentioned here. I freeze. “”If you can’t breathe, nothing else matters. That pretty much describes it,”

05.09.2018 · And by around the year 2030, their model suggests, the human role in driving widespread ocean oxygen loss will be even more apparent if greenhouse gas emissions continue unchecked. “Its fairly widespread detection….is basically evident in the 2030s to 2040s decade,” Long said. And that could have major consequences for marine organisms.

A report of Barrie Trower’s presentation to the Irish …

    On page 14, 15/18:

“Trower finds himself at the epicentre of conflict between the Global Warming crowd andthe Deniers. “Now you may or may believe in global warming, I’m not going into that here,”he said, “but one thing cannot be disputed. When you have carbon dioxide in theatmosphere, and it mixes with rainwater, you have carbolic acid. And the carbolic acidcomes down into the oceans. And again, Scientific American or Nature, have publishedthat the acidity of the oceans has reached critical levels for the photosynthesisers in theocean and they produce about 50 percent of the world’s oxygen. A lot of people don’trealize that.”… for the punchline he adds, “We are really running the risk of losing our planet.” Trower: The King and I Were it not so serious, it would be laughable.”

How can we be so ignorant not to take heed?

  • Thanks for sharing these links. There’s no doubt about it. Our planet is losing its ability to support life. Yet those in charge fail to live up to their commitments. In Canada, the Liberal governments has eased the carbon cost for some of our worst emitters. Fossil fuel development continues at an increased pace.

  • Steve MacLellan It makes me mad knowing all those authorities have sworn an oath to do the best for their people, but they probably within themselves, swear not to keep their words. But, they WILL go down with all the rest of us.

  • All life came from the primordial oceans, water is life, ocean die offs have ramifications for every living thing on Earth. Denying science and the consequences of climate change is committing the crime of biocide. We have no right to do this. If they won’t listen, it is time for grass roots action on a world wide scale.
