$19.5 million is a major taxpayer gift so the value MANS is offering government must be astronomical. The recent CBC News article, March 11, 2019, also seems to indicate that MANS is engaged in a full court press to replace governments own research with industry created data.

Don’t you just love the subsidies handed out to corporations and industry while people, especially Indigenous people suffer in squalor.
Yes. Not only do they want the government to pay for their research to see if they can exploit the province for profit, they’ll probably want the taxpayers dollars to be responsible for remediation and clean up after they have left.
