52 Reasons to Save the Bay of Fundy – #1 Memories
I see there are 52 reasons to come toThe Bay of Fundy! In my thinking if there are 52 reasons to come to The Bay of Fundy – certainly there are 52 reasons to Save The Bay of Fundy! I chose as #1 – Memories! I can’t even imagine the millions…trillions….gazillions of memories that The Bay has initiated. Born in Canada and raised in the U.S. I never knew about The Bay of Fundy – until we came to visit for my nephews wedding. We rented a cottage in Tidnish and were introduced to the most spectacular Bay of Fundy event! The Tide!! Needless to say we had never been to Tidnish – so when we got to the cottage, we were somewhat dismayed as we have 5 children who at this time ranged in ages from 3 to 13 and we had all talked up about a little cottage on the bay – you know we’re from Florida – so the BAY was synonymous with the BEACH!! The day we arrived we saw NO WATER and wondered why everything was so dry…we were all wandering around saying “Where did the water go?”!! …I called my sister and we were properly introduced to The Bay of Fundy and all its delights! Reason number #1 to sincerely request that the people who are in charge make the best decisions for saving and protecting The Bay of Fundy are the wonderful memories that are shared, to see some other reasons check out the 52 reasons to come toThe Bay of Fundy!
